Checking a professional before you order
Check the business, relevant competence and scope of the agreement.
What does company verification mean?
Current company verification checks the Business ID and registered name against PRH data. The profile shows the check date. It does not verify insurance, competence or work quality.
Insurance and qualifications
Ask the company for current evidence of liability insurance and coverage for the specific work. Check required qualifications separately. For electrical work, check the provider’s authorisation in the Tukes register.
Contractor checks and business records
Contractor.fi does not currently perform automatic Tilaajavastuu or Luotettava Kumppani checks. If a company claims membership, request a current report and review it. PRH verification does not replace these checks.
Agree in writing
Check the scope, provider, schedule, price, materials and payment terms. Keep the accepted proposal and agree extra work before it begins. The platform supports communication but does not guarantee the outcome.
